Travel group XL Leisure on brink of collapse

XL Leisure group, the third largest tour operator in the UK, is expected to collapse into administration today leaving tens of thousands of holidaymakers stranded abroad.

The failing group includes a large number of well-known branded tour operators such as Kosmar Holidays, specialising in the Greek islands, Travel City Direct, which has focused on holidays in Florida using dedicated flights from London Gatwick and Manchester, and holidays in the Caribbean.
