PwC, the administrators of Lehman Brothers in Europe, on Monday went to the UK’s Court of Appeal to win approval for a plan it says will help speed the winding-up of the collapsed bank.
The consultancy firm is attempting to overturn a court ruling in August that blocked the plan, arguing it would slash the amount of time that account holders would have to wait for the return of assets frozen when Lehman collapsed last year.
