Haven for terrorists claim rejected

Suggestions that Britain has become a haven for terrorists because of its preoccupation with civil liberties have been rejected by the government.

Thursday's attacks have reignited the debate about the right balance between individual freedoms and collective safety, which began within days of September 11, 2001.
