No stone has been left unturned by Loughborough University in its bid to make Japanese athletes welcome in the run-up to the Olympic Games.
Campus chefs more accustomed to baking potatoes and burgers have been training in Japanese restaurants in the area and are even heading to Japan to better familiarise themselves with the country’s customs and cuisine.
