Pension funds have been hit as hard as any investors by the property slump so it is perhaps surprising that many institutions are preparing for a fresh push into the market.
Fund managers say that, rather than running shy of property, there are signs that many pension fund clients are looking to raise allocations. This is particularly the case among those that believe there to be new opportunities emerging in the real estate market, where prices are forecast to stabilise before the end of the year.
