Exports to Iraq rise 150% in first half of year

Exports to Iraq increased by 150 per cent in the first six months of the year, in spite of the growing threat of violence in the country.

Figures from UK Trade & Investment, the government export body, show that exports were £79.3m in the first half of the year, up from £32.1m in the same period last year.
