Retired US investors looking for income have a rash of new mutual funds to choose from.
The nation’s biggest mutual fund companies are rolling out managed payout funds, designed to provide pensioners with a monthly income. Fidelity Investments launched 11 such funds last autumn. Vanguard Group is hoping to introduce three this quarter. In addition, John Hancock Financial Services , Russell Investments and Charles Schwab Investment Management are unveiling them.
