Sales expansion gives lift to SSL

Operating profits at SSL International, known for its Durex and Scholl brands, are expected to increase at least 10 per cent this year as the company saw “encouraging” sales growth.

Cash costs related to the closure of a Spanish condom factory and a technical centre in Cambridge will be “slightly lower than anticipated”. The closure process, due to be completed by the end of March, will see production move to Thailand.
