Take-Two Interactive Software lowered its fiscal third-quarter guidance yesterday after a key software ratings board slapped an "adults only" rating on the company's controversial Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas video game, which contains sexually graphic content hidden within the game.
The US video game maker said subsidiary Rockstar Games would stop making the current version of the game and offer a patch to prevent players from using unauthorised third-party software available on the internet to access the sexually explicit material.
