When the Superyacht Cup makes its debut at Cowes before the Olympic games in July 2012, this class will be reaching out for support from enthusiasts who follow the America’s Cup, the world and Olympic classes or the great round-the-world races.
This new four-day contest for sailing boats more than 25m in length builds on the success of the Superyacht Cup series in Palma, Mallorca, and Antigua that have been running since 1996.
