Sir, With reference to your report "Darling gets tough with buy-out titans" (August 17): the "entrepreneurial economy" has many rungs. At the top of the ladder are the buy-out titans. Beneath them come their junior cousins, the venture capitalist investors. Next come the entrepreneurs in whom they invest. Then come the employee-shareholders, the foot soldiers of this new world.
