Reckitt chief sees revival in brands

Bart BechtUK retailers could mimic moves by their counterparts elsewhere in Europe and stock more branded products following a consumer backlash against own-label products, Bart Becht (pictured right), Reckitt Benckiser chief executive, said on Wednesday.

Mr Becht, whose company owns brands like Dettol, Calgon and Finish, said discount retailers like Lidl in Ireland were bringing in more branded products due to consumer demand.
