PwC loses Lehman Europe court case

A plan by the administrators of Lehman Brothers in Europe to accelerate the winding-up of the collapsed bank was rejected by the UK's Court of Appeal yesterday.

PwC, Lehman's administrators in Europe, had tried to overturn a lower court ruling that blocked its plan, which would have slashed the amount of time that clients would have to wait for the return of assets frozen when Lehman collapsed.
