Houston struggles with clean-up after Ike

Shelia Harvey, a refuse truck driver with the city of Houston, is reaching her limit. She has been working 13-hour days for 12 consecutive days – picking up trees, fence posts and other debris from hurricane Ike.

On the way home she buys something to cook on a gas stove in the dark. The family’s power – knocked out by the storm – has yet to be restored.
