Rice calls for China’s help on North Korea

Condoleezza Rice on Sunday urged China to help break the stalemate over North Korea's refusal to return to nuclear arms negotiations.

Making her first visit to China as US secretary of state, Ms Rice encouraged Beijing to use its influence to get Pyongyang back to the talks, which have been stalled for nine months.
