Tax tribunals are set for the biggest shake-up in decades if legislation confirmed in the Queen's Speech passes in this parliamentary session.

Last week, the government confirmed it will press ahead with the tribunals, courts and enforcement bill, which covers measures ranging from a general overhaul of the tribunal system to separate matters such as civil debt recovery powers and judicial diversity.
