ITV has a good day at the office

There was some rare good news for ITV on Tuesday as the broadcaster reported better-than-expected trading conditions and successfully launched a convertible bond.

ITV also announced that it had decided not to sell its SDN transmission business, but said it would seek instead to use it as an asset to underpin its pension fund, which has a paper shortfall of £538m.
