Brian Johnson must have one of the best jobs on the Isle of Man. The former UK Civil Aviation Authority inspector runs the island’s aircraft registry, set up only in May last year. His target was to recruit 15 aircraft in the first year – he got 51. The figure may have reached triple figures by the time you read this.
“It’s a phenomenal growth rate. We provide a personal service and high standards. We are dealing with high net worth individuals who expect good service,” he says.
