Carly Fiorina has made clear she would be open to a job in John McCain's administration should he win the presidential election, amid speculation touting her as a potential running mate for the Republican candidate.

The former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard has emerged as a high-profile adviser and fundraiser for Mr McCain, lending much-needed economic and business clout to his campaign.
