My last two forays into the market – investments in Avarae Global Coins, the fund listed on the the Alternative Investment Market (Aim), and in the iShares Sterling Corporate Bond exchange traded fund (ETF) – have gone well. Both are showing a decent profit.

This has restored a bit of the confidence I lost last year. Back then, I took some hefty losses on investments in smaller companies that, at one time, had seemed promising.
