Daily Express falls foul of adverts regulator

The Daily Express newspaper repeatedly and intentionally broke rules about advertorials, the Advertising Standards Authority will rule on Wednesday.

Earlier this year, the Express ran multiple advertisements for products claiming to help with weight loss, arthritis and menopausal symptoms, alongside articles written by its journalists which the ASA said were “always and uniquely favourable to the product featured in the accompanying ad”.
