Spanish youths see red as summer bullfights are cancelled

Youths in the Spanish town of Pinto have pelted their town hall with eggs and tomatoes in protest against budget cuts that have forced summer fiesta organisers to limit the number of bullfights, or scrap them.

Bullfighting is often the highlight of local celebrations, which also include music concerts and fireworks, and August and September are the months in which Spaniards flock to the country's bullrings in greatest numbers.
