De La Rue sells cash systems unit for £360m

De La Rue, the world’s largest banknote printing company, said on Monday it would sell its cash systems business to Carlyle Group for £360m.

The US private equity house saw off rivals in an auction of the cash systems business, which supplies equipment to bank tellers for dispensing, counting and checking cash.
