While distillers worry about the prospect of minimum alcohol prices for the whisky industry, a rare vintage single malt goes on sale on Saturday for £10,000 a bottle.

Only 12 decanters of the Sirius expression from The Dalmore, a premium whisky brand, will be produced. They will only be available to private buyers and through a limited network of World Duty Free stores and will be launched at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.
