Companies unaware of enterprise tax breaks

Attempts to stimulate the enterprise culture through targeted tax relief schemes and incentives are being undermined by widespread ignorance of the government support available, according to a survey by PwC, the professional services firm.

Interviews with about 350 privately owned companies found the average awareness over nine incentive schemes was only 41 per cent.
