Scaramella alters stance on radiation poisoning

Mario Scaramella, the Italian involved in the Russian espionage and radiation poisoning affair, appeared in two minds on Monday about his state of health and his next course of action.

On Sunday night he told Italian television that he had enough radioactive material in his body to kill him five times over. But on Monday he told a politician he was “not contaminated” and hoped to be home for Christmas.
