COMPANIES Staffline shares rose almost 20 per cent on Friday after the recruitment agency said its full-year earnings would exceed its expectations in spite of the UK’s high levels of unemployment.
Altium Securities, house broker, raised pre-tax profit forecasts from £3.1m to £3.5m, slightly above last year’s £3.4m. The group recorded pre-tax profits of £4.4m ($7.3m) in 2007.
