Ashridge, the UK business school, received degree-awarding powers as recently as September 2008 but it is already planning its a new masters degree, which will begin in October 2009.
The MSc in Sustainability and Responsibility is an executive masters programme intended for experienced business people, consultants or managers in NGOs or the public sector who are concerned with ensuring that organisations are profitable yet behave responsibly. The programme will be studied part-time over two years and will comprise eight five-day residential workshops, six of which will take place on the Ashridge campus. Each class will typically have 24 participants.
