Confident tone fails to lift Danone shares

Danone, the world’s biggest yoghurt maker, on Wednesday said it aimed to gain market share from competitors in 2009 without necessarily cutting prices, as it delivered full year results in line with expectations.

It saw no rebound in consumption this year but neither did it expect a “dramatic breakdown”.
