Where does Altria’s plan to spin off Philip Morris International leave the company’s Marlboro cowboy?

For decades now, Marlboro has been the only truly global tobacco brand. Other tobacco companies sell their products all over the world, but Marlboro, with an 8.6 per cent share, is the only one that can lay claim to more than 2 per cent of the world cigarette market by volume.
