Tories act on ‘part-time’ taunts

David Cameron sought to blunt Labour attacks on his “part-time” Tory team by pledging on Monday that the shadow cabinet would give up all outside interests by the New Year.

The Tory leader also published details of the shadow cabinet’s second jobs, anticipating a rule change that will from Wednesday require all MPs to disclose earnings and time spent on outside interests.
