A lack of regulation for home information packs could result in an uneven playing field for sellers, key industry figures believe.

From August 1 every home with four bedrooms or more will need to commission a Hip before being advertised for sale, but the local authorities’ regulator, Lacors, has said that enforcement of this scheme could be problematic.
