Former Blair press aide to publish novel

While almost all Labour MPs have resisted the temptation to turn their hand to writing fiction, publishing a novel is fast becoming a rite of passage for the party’s spin-doctors.

Alastair Campbell on Friday announced All in the Mind, his tale of a psychiatrist and his patients, would be hitting bookstores in November – making him the third Labour press aide in as many years to publish a novel.
