Five ways to reform Asia’s regional bank

We wish to address the matters raised in the Financial Times related to the difficulties the Asian Development Bank is having internally and with some of its big shareholders (“Donors seek ADB shake-up,” January 17). We do this based on our long experience as ambassadors/executive directors on behalf of the US for a combined period of more than 10 years, covering two US administrations and three Japanese ADB presidents.
