Nokia signals shift in strategy

Nokia, the world's leading mobile handset maker, yesterday signalled a strategic shift when it unveiled its first portable device without a built-in mobile phone.

The new pocket-sized communications device, dubbed the Nokia 770, will enable users to connect to the internet using a Wi-Fi wireless network.
