Christian Arizona university breaks the longest IPO drought in 33 years

The longest drought in the US market for initial public offerings since 1975 is set to be broken today when Grand Canyon, a Christian university based in Arizona, becomes the first company to price a public flotation in more than three months.

The educational company will test investor appetite for equity offerings when it prices its planned $179m offering after the market closes today.
