COMPANIES Sir Stuart Rose, chairman of Marks and Spencer, admitted it had made several “basic shopkeeping” mistakes when launching its troubled first store on the Chinese mainland.
He said, however, that the UK retailer was committed to building more stores in China and doubling the proportion of group revenues derived from international sales.
