Ebayers go neutral in bid to balance budgets

With house prices falling, inflation rising and growth stagnant, consumers are becoming increasingly canny in their shopping habits.

So-called "neutral shopping" on Ebay, where consumers seek to "offset" the cost of their purchases by simultaneously selling off their own possessions, is on the rise, as general belt tightening forces people to rethink their spending.
