Martin Halusa says the private equity industry is splitting in two. In one camp are the funds specialising by country, sector or type of transaction.

In the other are global funds that do different types of deals across many sectors and countries. It quickly becomes clear that Mr Halusa thinks Apax belongs in the latter category.
