NEUBIBERG, Germany, Dec 3 - Chipmaker Infineon is bracing for a significant decline in revenue and an operating loss in its 2009 fiscal year due mainly to declining demand from automakers, a key customer group.

Its shares nosedived on the news, falling nearly 23 per cent at the opening.
