Inside Salon Adel, mirrors are shattered, a sink is stained with blood and the ceiling is so scarred with gaping cracks that in some places sections seem to be hanging by a thread, as if they could drop any time.
Where a few days ago there were glass-fronted windows now there are only frames, while outside the first-floor barber shop in west Beirut the street is littered with debris, left from a Monday night bomb blast.
