Arcadia profits rise to £213m

Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia saw sales and profit rise in its last financial year but the retail billionaire refused to disclose the performance of the BHS chain, which is now part of the group.

Arcadia, which Sir Philip bought seven years ago, and includes the Topshop and Topman brands, increased pre-tax profit by 13 per cent, from £188.9m to £213.6m.
