World’s tallest skyscraper opens in Taipei

There is a party trick visitors are invited to perform as they take an elevator ride in Taipei 101, the world’s tallest skyscraper: balance an upright coin on the floor.

Although two of the building’s elevators are the fastest in the world, whisking you up at speeds of 1,010m per minute, the coin on the floor does not move a fraction.
