High-flyers who start out again

Some people might raise an eyebrow at Andrew Jenkins’s decision to quit his steady senior corporate job at the age of 49 to join a loss-making dotcom. But he calls it the most liberating thing he has ever done.

Until the start of 2006, Mr Jenkins was European chief operating officer of Jones Lang LaSalle, having spent 20 years climbing the corporate ladder at the property and financial services multi­national.
