Blair urges successor to push choice in services

Tony Blair has urged his successor to press the government's controversial use of choice, competition and contestability further to improve public services.

"My advice to those who come after me", the prime minister told a public services summit held by the CBI employers' group, "is to take this agenda and push it -further".
