London’s share of IPOs cut in half by Aim woes

London’s share of company listings has shrunk by half but it has hung on to the lead in five other key financial markets tracked by an industry group.

According to International Financial Services London, the UK’s market share of initial public offerings fell from 18 per cent in 2007 to 8 per cent last year by number of listings.
