Science, cars, trucks, models, machines. These are Wim Delvoye’s favourite things. “I’m a boy,” he says, by way of explanation – and boys will have their toys. The Belgian artist’s latest work, commissioned to stand at the entrance to the building hosting the Dubai Art Fair, is a serious kind of plaything: a life-size dump-truck made of robust rust-covered Cor-Ten steel.
