Innovation is turning online video into TV

Oprah Winfrey, the queen of television talk shows, has just dedicated a whole programme to YouTube, the online video-sharing site bought by Google a year ago for $1.65bn.

The hour-long special included an interview with founders, Steve Chen and Chad Hurley, and personal appearances by those made famous after uploads of their performances.
