Dimon calls for unity behind Obama

Jamie Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan Chase, has urged lawmakers to unite behind Barack Obama and not behave like a “dysfunctional family” as the country battles the economic crisis.

Echoing Monday’s patriotic rallying cry from Warren Buffett, chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, and the call for regulatory reform from Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve, Mr Dimon said the US could approach a recovery by year-end if all participants pulled together. “There are modest signs of recovery and healing.”
