Shares in John Menzies fell 15 per cent after the newspaper distributor and airport services group warned that turbulence in the aviation market would hit its results.

The Edinburgh-based group on Friday said the most recent confirmed flight schedules for the winter period and cargo volumes across the Menzies Aviation network were much weaker than anticipated.
